FA Cup 3rd round




Ipswich Town will face Southampton in the 3rd Round in the FA Cup. Town were ball number 20, the same number as in 1978, the game will be played at St Mary's. Tickets will be sold online soon at www.itfcdirect.com. Mick McCarthy is still looking for his first cup tie win since joining the club in November 2012, losing all four ties against Aston Villa, Stevenage, Preston North End and Crawley. All Town players are eligible, but unless Town extend Noel Hunt's loan deal, he may not feature in the FA Cup at all. Meanwhile, loanees, Elliott Hewitt, Frank Nouble are not eligible for the cup as they played for their loan clubs in the previous rounds.

Neil Adams will be looking for his second cup tie win this season beating Crawley 3-1 earlier this campaign.
